{"id":272,"date":"2008-06-14T16:59:41","date_gmt":"2008-06-14T15:59:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/freebox.blogdns.com\/?p=272"},"modified":"2008-06-14T16:59:41","modified_gmt":"2008-06-14T15:59:41","slug":"aggiornare-il-bios-senza-windows-e-senza-floppy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lorenzobraghetto.com\/index.php\/2008\/06\/14\/aggiornare-il-bios-senza-windows-e-senza-floppy\/","title":{"rendered":"Aggiornare il Bios senza Windows e senza floppy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cercando disperatamente di far funzionare l&#8217;acpi e la temperatura sul server ho provato ad aggiornare il bios (nel mio caso non \u00e8 servito a niente purtroppo&#8230;).<\/p>\n<p>Ovviamente non avevo windows e rispolverare un lettore floppy avrebbe prodotto quintali di polvere \ud83d\ude00 .<\/p>\n<p>Normalmente il produttore mette a disposizione un utility per flashare il bios via DOS, ovviamente mica mi mettevo ad usare MS-DOS, ho usato <a title=\"freedos\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fdos.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Freedos <\/a>da cd.<\/p>\n<p><code>wget http:\/\/www.fdos.org\/bootdisks\/autogen\/FDOEM.144.gz<\/code><br \/>\n<code>gunzip FDOEM.144.gz<\/code><\/p>\n<p>monto l&#8217;immagine in una cartella<\/p>\n<p><code>mkdir \/media\/loop<\/code><br \/>\n<code>mount -t vfat -o loop FDOEM.144 \/media\/loop<\/code><\/p>\n<p>Ci copio il file dell&#8217;utility (nel mio caso aflash.exe) e il bios.<\/p>\n<p><code>cp 1012TC.awd aflash.exe \/media\/loop\/<\/code><\/p>\n<p>Smonto e creo l&#8217;iso<\/p>\n<p><code>umount \/media\/loop<\/code><\/p>\n<p><code> mkisofs -o bootcd.iso -b FDOEM.144 FDOEM.144<\/code><\/p>\n<p>Dopo baster\u00e0 masterizzare normalmente l&#8217;iso, ovviamente conviene un cd-rw.
